A science writer based in New York City, I’m a native of Arkansas. I grew up digging around in my backyard looking for rocks, creating mud holes, and generally exploring the natural world around me. Now, I channel my worldly curiosity by writing about a wide variety of scientific topics, including the magical world of fossils, green energy technology and the endangered wildlife.
I have interned at Audubon Magazine, Scholastic, Live Science, and GenomeWeb. Which has given me the opportunity to write for a wide variety of readers from curious kids to science researchers.
